FACTS ABOUT LEARNING DISABLED CHIDREN
1.10 to12% school going children have some kind of learning disability.
2.They are not mentally retarded.
3.There is a significant difference in their I.Q. & academic achievement.
4.The occurence is 4-5 times more often in boys than in girls.
5.Learning disabled children are able to learn but they need specialised help.
6.They often show emotional behavioural problems.
